We tour exclusively on vintage 650cc Russian motorcycles called 'Urals', with or without sidecars, and specially modified 125cc four-stroke Belarusian motorbikes called 'Minsks', as well as an assortment of 250cc Honda XRs and 125cc Honda Future scooters for those who prefer Japanese design.
We have the largest fleet of any motorcycle tour operator in Vietnam -- 49 vintage Urals, 15 tough as guts Minsks and 15 Honda XRs, all maintained by five of Vietnam’s best mechanics and supported by a mountain of spare parts. Our motorbikes look great, are very charismatic and are simply the best way to enjoy the scenery and people that live in this wonderful country.
Experienced riders familiar with larger engines will appreciate the classic feel and raw torque of our ex-military, 30-year-old Urals, which are a Russian copy of BMWs dating back to WWII. They are a joy to ride and we have made many special modifications to improve their comfort, safety and performance.
Minsks, meanwhile, are perfect for small single tracks far up in the mountains where no one has been to before. They are tough, light and robust motorbikes, with more than enough power to get you up any track, especially now that we have modified them with strong 4-stoke engines. Both Charlie Boorman and Richard Hammond from BBC Top Gear had a ball riding our Minsks.
If though you prefer modern Japanese motorcycles, then our 250cc Honda XRs are there for the taking. What they lack in personality they make up for in pure and simple efficiency.
Here are some movies about what our bikes are like in the far north. Notice that each is just a movie from one ride, rather than a compilation. That’s how good it is here!
